Very Rare 1940 Gibson ES-250 with a beautiful triple-bound Spruce top, single-bound maple back and sides. A laminated maple neck with a bound Rosewood fretboard finished off with a headstock stinger. This is a stunning art deco inspired instrument meant to be highlighted on a ’40s bandstand. The after-market reproduction pickguard is included *(removed to show the entire top of the guitar).*
Complete with original Grover Imperial tuners, triple bound “Charlie Christian Six Blade Pickup” and original tailpiece. Also in excellent shape is the original tweed hardshell case.
