Well lookie what we have here. A 1959 Sparkling Burgundy Gibson EB-2 Bass. Yes, I know, and I questioned the family that owned it about the history. Pops ordered the color that didn’t even have a name for it at the time. She’s a real monster! It plays superb and has the greatest of tones coming out of that clean Bakelite thumper pickup.
