1963 Fender Jaguar Guitar.
Vintage 1963 Fender Jaguar Guitar. Made in Fullerton, CA. USA. SERIAL NUMBER: L09152. COLOR: 3 Tone Sunburst Nitrocellulose Finish. WEIGHT: 7lbs. 11.6 ounces (3kg. 510g). Here is a beautiful 1963 Fender Jaguar. This baby is 100% original. The entire body has excellent crazy checking. There are some dings and scratches, but all of them go away when you put your eyes on this incredibly checked body. Actually looks better in person. Beautiful Celluloid tortoise three-layer pickguard with very light swirling. All chrome hardware looks great, there is no pitting on the chrome whatsoever. All the screws and strap buttons have a nice patina to them. The neck is in excellent vintage condition. There is no checking, decal is on top of the Nitro finish, single line Kluson tuners with a light patina, gorgeous clay dots on top of the stunning rosewood fretboard. We can only see 2 marks on this neck which aren’t even noticeable. Neck has a 7.25 radius. Very little fretwear, plenty of fret life left. Stamped on the neck butt reads “1 JUL 63 B”. At some point an additional string tree was added. Must have been a long time ago based on the patina. Both pot codes are matching “3046336” denoting they were manufactured by Stackpole on the 36th week of 1963. This is a very clean, original, and spectacular 59-year-old Jaguar. Includes the original case in good vintage condition, fraying on one leather end as well as leather coming off the handle. After taking these pictures I had the guitar setup with 10-46 slinky I also had the mute removed and it and the tremolo arm are included in the case. As always please see all photos for more detail. If you require any additional pictures to determine condition or authenticity or have any further questions please reach out. Will consider trades for quality vintage or custom USA made electric or acoustic guitars.
