For your consideration, Garrett Park Guitars presents this 1963 Fender Telecaster.
Rosewood neck Telecasters from this period are quite hard to find, and are especially in demand for their excellent tone and superb playability. This 1963 Telecaster is in good and almost entirely original shape. It plays like a dream due to its recent refret with 6105 frets by Glaser Instruments in Nashville. It was also rewired to make the neck pickup more usable disabling the capacitor in the “mud” circuit. Finally, newer compensated saddles have been installed, but the originals are in the case.
Both pickups have a very lively tone with plenty of spark when the tone is wide open and a nice, mellow vibe when rolling the tone off. The bridge pickup is exceptional and is clean and clear when played clean but when driven it growls!
Comes with the original ashtray cover and original brown hardshell case.
