About This Vintage Ad

For your consideration, Garrett Park Guitars presents this 1971 Fender Telecaster Custom in Olympic White with black binding.

This “tuxedo” Telecaster Custom is just in from a major collection. It features the very unusual combination of black binding and Olympic White paint that give it a cool and unusual look. In addition to its fancy looks it also plays exceptionally well and sounds great. Fender had begun to remove the Mud cap from the Tele’s circuitry at this point allowing for full use of the neck pickup. In very good condition, this one has a few dings here and there and some yellowing of the finish. The frets and fingerboard are in nice shape too.

This is a rare guitar that collectors will love but should be played, its that good!

Please note that Fender did not apply Telecaster Custom decals in the ’70s as they had previously.
