This is a rare 1st type Limited Edition of a ’64 Firebird V w/a Reverse Body using some leftover nickel parts such as banjo tuners, tunamatic bridge and Lyre Vibrola, w/2 mini Humbuckers w/a factory production #’d Gold Medallion that look, play, sound and feel just like original reverse body ones costing twice the price. Its original slightly faded Dark’burst finish is in very cool patinated shape showing some nice grain patterns. Its has an original white pearloid Trapezoid inlaid ebony fingerboard over a 2 piece Mahogany neck w/no volute & a 2 piece stunning body. Its got some weather checking but is completely uncracked & very collectible. Its currently loaded w/a factory pat.# stickered Mini Humbucker & a 70’s LP Mini Humbucker (1 pickup died) that sound amazing. She’s also still sporting her original multi layered White’gard w/its infamous Red Bird logo. She has her original pots dated to sometime in 1972 but hard to read. She has her original banjo tuners tuners, tun-a-matic bridge & its long Maestro Vibrola. This is a great guitar for that guy that wants to enjoy it for the next 50 years ! This FB V was bought in 1974 by its 1st longterm owner, Mr. Brad Izor, who used it regularly over the past 3-4 decades. She’s an excellent original & comes w/a nice recent Epi hard case.
