This is a 1974 Fender Super Reverb Electric Guitar Tube Combo Amplifier.
Quintessential vintage Fender tone – seriously one of the best amplifiers I’ve ever played through.
All tube power and on-board tremolo, it doesn’t get any better than this.
Articulate, crisp, clear, and crank it up for true Fender tube power.
The 45W design gives you great clean headroom while low enough to push into natural overdrive.
The “Normal” channel has controls for Volume, Treble, and Bass. The simplicity makes it very easy to dial in your favorite classic Fender tones.
The “Vibrato” channel has controls for Volume, Treble, Middle, Bass, Reverb, Speed, Intensity.
All this luscious tone runs into a quad of Fender Special Design 10″ speakers – and are all original to the amp.
This was just in with a technician and here are the notes:
“Received a complete recap service and overhaul of all electrolytic capacitors. All components gone through and replaced if necessary – new power tubes and vintage rectifier tube with a mix of vintage preamp and new preamp tubes.
Partial “Black-faced” on the reverb section to keep tye 12AT7 driver tuber cooler. Installed a new reverb tank, and new send/return hand built cables.”
I’ve played through this amplifier for hours and hours and almost don’t want to let it go – works and sounds amazing.
