This is a 1976 Music Man Stingray 1 Electric Guitar. This has been inspected and set up at the Banjo Warehouse in Atlanta.

Description
This is a very early 1976 Music Man Stingray 1 guitar which has original Radio Knobs. Radio Knobs were only used on the very first Music Man guitars. This also has a black pickguard which is original and white pickups which are also original. The guitar is all original.
The pickups are long pole and also go down into what I call the Thunder Pocket. This is a routed area under the pickup which the Long Poles sit into. This does create a type of tone that is very rich and warm with a lot of body. This was stopped by 1979.
This has a natural finish with all chrome hardware. There is a volume and two tone knobs with a 3 way switch for the two humbucker pickups. There is also a switch which I am not sure what it does but I can say I can tell it is working because it does effect the sound when selected.
This is a really cool and early example of a Music Man Stingray Guitar and comes with a Fender gig bag.
Condition
This guitar is in great shape. There is a scratch on the back of the body and some other finish checking but overall the finish looks really good. The right cutaway has a mark on it which I am not sure exactly what that is. The frets are in great shape. All of the electronics are working and this is set up and ready to go. The gig bag is clean.
