Short for research and development the RD series of Gibson guitars featured new active electronics designed in collaboration with Synth pioneer Bob Moog. This example from 1979 is in great shape and fully functional. It features a beautiful Ebony finish, gold hardware, and an ebony fingerboard with pearl block inlays. A comfortable three piece maple neck and Reverse body design round out this unique model that has become much harder to find in recent years.
