About This Vintage Ad

Hey now! You’re looking at an amazing guitar.
This is a 1980 Guild X-175 Hollowbody Electric Guitar.
It weighs 8 lbs 1 oz. 24.75″ scale, 1.66″ nut width, 17″ lower bout.
Bathed in a beautiful Blonde finish, which was the rarest.
Yet another amazing guitar manufactured out of the Westerly Guild factory!
A workingman’s jazzbox, with all the playability and tone without some of the fancy appointments.
Featuring an arched spruce top, an arched flame maple back and sides. Mahogany neck with a maple stripe, housing a rosewood fingerboard, and a compensated rosewood bridge.
It’s warm, it’s mellow, it’s bright and articulate. The depth and balance here are amazing. With excellent projection, it resonates against your body and sings the sweetest songs.
Grabbing up all this incredible tone are a pair of Guild’s famous HB-1 humbuckers.
Controls feature twin volume/tone, master volume, and a 3-way pickup selector.
It’s in very good overall condition
Just setup, the neck is straight and the frets are clean. Some normal playwear you’d expect from a 40 year old guitar. Some scratches, and some dings. Pretty good, and nothing that effects tone or playability whatsoever.
Please carefully look through all of my detailed photos for a better visual description.
Don’t miss out on a beautiful piece of Guild history with this X-175.
Thanks for looking!
