1980 LEFT HANDED Music Man Stingray Bass
This is an ultra rare Left Handed Music Man Stingray Bass with a String Through Body. This is insanely rare. The bass has been inspected and set up by the Stingray Man.

Description
I have probably owned 200 or more Vintage Stingray Basses in my life and only 2 of them have been Lefty’s. This bass is not going to be easy to duplicate with an original case.
This has an original Sunburst finish with a really nice patina. The neck is maple with a rosewood fretboard which is also rare. The finish on the neck has patina as well. When I get basses with this much patina I don’t clean them and leave them naturally relic’d. The nut is original and I believe this was originally fretless and had frets added. The electronics are all original but everything other than the pickup came out of a different bass. The pots and preamp are Pre Ernie Ball but not original to this bass. This also has an original case.
The bass weighs 9 pounds 10 ounces. The neck is 1980 and the body is March 12 1980.
Condition
This bass is what I call an Organic Relic. People are paying stupid high prices for relics that are being made to duplicate what this bass is naturally. This is a well played and well worn aged Vintage Bass that reaks of mojo.
The fretboard is clean as are the frets. This bass has the vibe that so many people are wanting these days. The case is also super worn and is missing a latch. The two latches do keep it closed and it is clean inside.
This has been set up by the Stingray Man. All of the electronics work and are clean. The bass has new Ernie Ball Super Slinky strings. This bass truly plays great and sounds incredible.
