About This Vintage Ad

This is a very rare “Prototype” Reissue of Gibson’s famed Les Paul Jr. & one we should keep for life but will offer it up to its next caretaker. Here’s a very rare opportunity when Gibson just started experimenting (Pre-Custom Shop) making copies of some of their best guitars from the 50’s such as their Korina Flying V’s & their ’59 Les Paul Std. ’59 Reissues. This Les Paul Jr. was finished in a lovely 2-tone Sunburst just like it was 1954 again. Its back, sides & fat neck are all dark stained. Grovers are the tuner of choice. They decided to improve it by adding a Tun-a-Matic bridge along w/its stop tailpiece & make it more versatile. The coolest thing ism its “Prototype” stamp on the back of its headstock that so few guitars have unless they are really special 1st issues. This is mint & unused condition & should stay this nice but not wanting to play this is the question at hand. Its as cool as it get’s & comes in a nice original brown tolex/pink lined hard case.
