This is a 1996 G and L L1500 Electric Bass that is all original and gorgeous. This has been inspected and set up by the Stingray Man at the Banjo Warehouse in Atlanta.

Description
Up for sale, a 1996 G&L L-1500 bass in great condition and perfect working order. The single-pickup version of the L-2000, G&L’s L-1500 is all about power and simplicity. It has a stripped down look, comfortable styling and great build quality. Open-position grooves are easy, and the upper register is very forgiving on your playing hand. Tone-wise, this bass manages to provide plenty of musical, usable sounds without offering tons of stuff you’ll never use. This bass has only one pickup, but there are more tones packed into it than in some 3-pickup configurations. You can dial in your exact sound and be as specific as you want, whether you play blues, metal, jazz, rock, or funk. The bass has been professionally set up with smooth low action, it has a great feel and playability.
This bass also includes the original G and L case along with case candy like original hang tag and Certificate of Authenticity. These basses are exceptional and the 1990’s was a great era for G and L. By the way G and L was founded by George Fullerton and Leo Fender and was Leo’s final contribution to the world of music.
Condition
This bass is stunning. The only wear on the bass is scratching on the plastic electronics cover on the back. This is somewhat odd because there is virtually no scratching in the finish, I guess the original owner played this in the perfect position for the cover to rub against buttons on their shirt. The finish looks great and has been waxed to a shine. I also have taken the bass apart and polished all of the hardware and the metal is glowing. The fretboard has been cleaned and oiled and this has brand new strings.
This bass has loads of pop, it can be very bright but also set up for a beautiful low end. This bass feels incredible to play and sounds like heaven. Everything is original, this is clean and set up with the complete package of original case and case candy.
