1997 Fender Jimi Hendrix Tribute Stratocaster: This guitar appears to be unplayed! This guitar was purchased from Fender by an authorized Fender dealer who opened the box to inspect the guitar then promptly placed it back in the shipping carton and stored it. He recently sold it to finance medical bills. It has since been taken out of the case twice more including for these photos. It is in need of new strings and a set up but it is playable as it sits. It still has the plastic sheet on the pickguard. This can sometimes leave a mark in the pickguard if the plastic sheeting is removed. I find no fret wear or any other signs of wear on this guitar. This guitar is left handed but factory set up right handed to give the right handed player a mirror image of the famous Woodstock Strat that Jimi Hendrix played. The guitar weighs 7lbs, 14oz, The original case is also included as well as what appears to be the unopened goody bag, the Ace strap and the white coil cord. The original shipping carton is included. This is a fabulous collector condition package worthy of any collection!
