1998 Fender American Roadhouse Stratocaster: For a 25 year old guitar this one is in exceptional condition. Some would rate it as excellent. The Roadhouse Stratocaster is an American Standard Stratocaster factory upgraded with Texas Special pickups and vintage style cloth wiring. It also has an orange drop capacitor. It shows no fret wear and you’ll need a sharp eye to find a ding or dent. There is some very light wear along the rolled edges of the fretboard. Very common these models and usually much worse. The control cavity has been copper shielded to add the quiet of this guitar. Freshly set up with 9 gauge strings and weighing in at 8.0lbs. even, this one not only plays and sounds great, it looks great as well! Ships in the original red label Fender hard shell case.
