This is one of the most beautiful Gibson Flat Tops we’ve ever encountered. In 2005, Gibson decided to make a limited run a very high end special Dreadnaught size guitar using a very familiar model name…”The Firebird” to create this very special acoustic that’s fancier in all respects than any Country & Western or Hummingbird ever made. Its got a pretty spruce to w/an amazing “Fire Striped” pickguard that looks like its got actual flames. Its cherry stained ridiculously Quilty maple back & sides are as good as it gets clearly showing off Gibson’s talent from Bozeman Montana. Its loaded w/top line stuff from its insane abalone & pearl inlaid ebony L-5 style bound fingerboard to its matching headstock inlays. Its got its Custom Shop logo sticker under its factory Grover tuners. Its orange label is intact & has a gorgeous matching inlaid bridge. Completed on 4/22/05, this is a fabulous collector grade Flat Top from a great period. It’s truly near mint & comes w/some case candy in its original hard case.
