Charvel Model 5 HH Electric Guitar w/ Case Kahler Trem Mid Boost MIJ Custom

Condition:

$1499.99

Color: Natural

Year:

Location: Plainview NY

Hey now! You're looking at an incredible guitar, with one of the nicest necks I've ever felt. This is a late 80's Charvel Jackson Model 5 HH Electric Guitar. It weighs 7 lbs 10 oz. 25.5" scale, 1.70" nut width. The late 80's were Charvel's time! Featured in videos on MTV and endorsed by some of the biggest guitarists on the scene. This one is really a special piece. The finish must have been sanded off at some point, as I don't see them available in a natural oil or satin finish, and there's some black paint under the pickups in their cavity. This gives us a custom, one of a kind guitar, also an incredibly fast neck with no gloss finish friction. It was just setup - the amazing neck is straight, and the frets are clean. Its got plenty of vintage mojo here, very well played. Lots of marks/scratches, dings/dents - very typical of a nearing 40 year old guitar. Please carefully look through all of my detailed photos for a better visual description. This is your chance to dive back into the golden era of shred guitar with this '86 Charvel Model 5. Thanks for looking!

About This Vintage Ad

Hey now! You’re looking at an incredible guitar, with one of the nicest necks I’ve ever felt.
This is a late 80’s Charvel Jackson Model 5 HH Electric Guitar.
It weighs 7 lbs 10 oz. 25.5″ scale, 1.70″ nut width.
The late 80’s were Charvel’s time! Featured in videos on MTV and endorsed by some of the biggest guitarists on the scene.
This one is really a special piece.
The finish must have been sanded off at some point, as I don’t see them available in a natural oil or satin finish, and there’s some black paint under the pickups in their cavity.
This gives us a custom, one of a kind guitar, also an incredibly fast neck with no gloss finish friction.
Probably made in 1986 before Charvel started stamping the serial number on the last fret, it must’ve been sanded off with the finish.
Awesome neck-thru design, maple neck into a maple/poplar body. Perfect tone transfer.
The neck here is as thin as you remember. This is a big part of Charvel’s popularity – their incredible necks. Super fast position shifts. Big bends without fear of choking out – a true player.
The icing on the cake is the Kahler 2300 Pro trem. It pulls and dives like a Floyd, but with a smoother feel.
Two Jackson Model 5 humbuckers (which according to research should be Jackson J-80C) grabs up all the amazing tone.
A 5-way selector, Volume, Tone, and Boost make up the electronics.
It was just setup – the amazing neck is straight, and the frets are clean.
Its got plenty of vintage mojo here, very well played. Lots of marks/scratches, dings/dents – very typical of a nearing 40 year old guitar.
