Here’s a 1967 Musicraft Messenger in Sunburst finish. Rare, all original stereo model! 1 of only 250 made from 1967-1968, made famous by Mark Farner of Grand Funk Rail Road! Clean example as well…no breaks, cracks, repairs. All parts on the guitar are original. At one point the guitar had a different D tuner on, which left a small hole that has since been filled, but the original(s) is back on. The only other thing to note, is that a previous owner tried to buff out a little section on the side of the guitar (treble side, where the side contour is). He also touched up a few small spots on the back of the aluminum neck to cover some wear spots. No repairs though and everything is structurally perfect. As mentioned, this is the stereo version! There are two outputs, which allow for routing both pickups though one jack, or sending them to each jack separately, to be used with two separate amps. The guitar plays fantastic, with low action down the neck. Frets have life left as well. Even sounds good acoustic. The original pickups are two DeArmond single coils, that are full & clear. The guitar sounds incredible. Nothing sounds like an old Messenger! OHSC included!
