This is a 1965 Fender Stratocaster 3-Tone Sunburst Electric Guitar, with its original case.
This is a one-owner guitar!
It weighs 7 lbs 5 oz, 25.5″ scale, 1.66″.
.83″ to .93″ 1st to 12th fret depth.
L series serial.
Just setup- the neck is straight and the frets are clean.
Everything about this guitar just ooozes quintessential vintage Fender.
The neck is incredibly comfortable, and the medium weight results in awesome natural resonance.
Capturing all this tonal amazingness are a trio of it’s original single coil pickups.
The tone here is everything you’d expect.
It’s punchy, clear, focused, bright, articulate, with a good bottom end.
And the chords! The chords shimmer, very bell-like, it’s just beautiful.
Tons of vintage mojo here also- all the normal play wear you’d expect from a bear 60 year old guitar. Marks/scratches, dings/dents.
There are areas on the horn where the finish has “smudged” for lack of better word.
