About This Vintage Ad

Hey now! You’re looking at a piece of Fender history.
This is a 1974 Fender Stratocaster electric guitar.
It weighs 9 lbs 9 oz. 25.5″ scale, 1.60″ nut width. .84″ to .86″ 1st – 12th neck depth.
Once in a while a guitar comes through here and it’s just phenomenal, whether it’s looks or tone- this Strat nails both.
The Olympic White finish has aged wonderfully, tying together all the vintage ‘mojo’ on this guitar, getting real relic’d vibes.
Like your favorite pair of worn-in shoes, this Strat is your go-to, and as much I can admire it cosmetically like a piece of art, it sounds even better.
The weight offers a great balance of natural resonance and mid-range push.
What you get is a guitar that has all the classic Strat tones, with a bit more body to them.
When you add gain, this is just a monster, so even and tonally balanced.
All the way gained out, you would swear the bridge pickup was a humbucker, if not for that sweet Fender ‘quack’ and 60 cycle.
The neck pickup brings that thick warm sustain – just huge.
Positions 2 and 4 just sing with that great Hendrix sound.
There are many scratches/marks, dings/dents, finish wear, giving this beauty that relic look and doesn’t effect the tone or playability at all. Two hairline finish cracks by the neck pocket on the body – very typical of a vintage Stratocaster.
The neck is straight, and the frets are clean. Just set up and ready to rock.
It includes the vintage Fender case you see in the photos.
Don’t miss the opportunity to get your hands on an impressive vintage 70’s Strat!
Thanks for looking.
